Heather and I were married back on August 4th and life has been wonderful!
After the wedding in Wilmington, we headed to Brazil for our honeymoon and spent two weeks travelling all over the place including a short jaunt to Argentina.
We had a total blast and would recommend it to anyone. One highlight was the time we spent in Jericoacoara which is a little beach town on the northern
coast.
Heather has a pretty heavy teaching schedule with three different schools but she loves the challenge.
I've been doing a lot of racing. I did my first marathon in Richmond in November and finished in 3:19. My goal was to break 3:20 so I'm really happy with how things went. Heather and I
also got to spend some good time with my Mom and Gary which was a very nice bonus.
I also did a bunch of cyclocross racing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclocross) through the winter which was loads of fun. It has become very
popular in North Carolina and there are races all fall and winter all over the state.
